Additional comfort

xxter offers several options for additional comfort, also when you are not using your phone or tablet. With scenarios you can set exactly what a light switch in your home should do. This allows you to set the lights in the room exactly the way you like it, with one flick of the switch. With the scheduler you can make you home perform a task automatically, whenever you want. For instance, you can close the curtains whenever it gets dark, or have your home wake you up with a dimmed light and the smell of fresh coffee. Also, xxter can keep track of statistics in your home, for instance of the temperature or the power consumption, so you can look into them whenever you want.

The end user can create and change scenarios himself directly in the app and control for every scenario which lights should be turned on or off or should be dimmed. The user is completely free to configure the scenario the way he or she prefers, which has never been possible before. Scenarios can be linked to light switches in the automated home by the installer, which allows the scenarios to be used directly in the home installation. Also curtains, thermostats and other equipment like the Sonos system or Philips Hue lights can be included in a scenario. The user can change scenarios without the help of the installer and can always see the effect of a specific scenario. Of course, scenarios can also be used directly in the app.

xxter is standard equipped with very complete room temperature control possibilities. With this integrated RTC functionality you can individually control the cooling and heating of up to 16 different rooms. Based on the available cooling or heating methods, for instance central heating radiators, floor heating, airconditioning and ventilation you can create the exact configuration required for your situation. With the xxter app, you have easy and complete control over every thermostat. Also existing RTCs can be completely integrated in xxter. Combine the xxter RTC with scenarios and the scheduler to make sure it is comfortable when you want and prevent unnecessary heating costs when you are not at home.

This allows you to create logic based on the predicted weather, for instance, to change irrigation settings based on expected rainfall or adjust climate controls to prepare for a particularly warm day.
